What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated therapy that focuses on understanding and improving human behavior. ABA is widely recognized as the gold standard for supporting children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental differences.
How Does ABA Work?
ABA uses principles of learning and behavior to teach skills in a structured, systematic way. By observing how a person behaves in different situations, ABA therapists identify patterns, triggers, and outcomes of behaviors. Therapists then design individualized treatment plans to encourage positive behaviors and teach replacement skills for behaviors that may be challenging.
